rev:text	My boyfriend and I recently made it out to Hop Farm Brewing Company in Upper Lawrenceville. It was suggested by a friend of his who we were meeting for drinks. We arrived early and chose to sit at a table since the bar was full. There appeared to be a great deal of chatter between different groups of patrons and the bartenders...such a friendly atmosphere! We ordered beers from the bar, and the staff was very accommodating about keeping the tab open for our table all night. We were able to go back and forth getting multiple beers and food without a hitch just by using one person's name. It was a simple and efficient way to handle things, not like some other places I've been to. I tried the cherry sour and a coffee stout, which were both amazing. I also sampled the delicious house IPA that my boyfriend ordered. The beers were priced in both 5 oz and 12 or 16 oz pours as well as flights of four or five. I love being able to try many different beers cheaply, and at these prices that's a possibility. My boyfriend and his buddy also got sausages, and they were tasty! For only $7 you get a fresh, sizzling hot sausage on an artisanal roll (or on a bed of greens for those with gluten sensitivities) with a side of chips and a pickle. Such a great deal. There are also some small plates and a $5 hot dog available, but I'll be getting one of those yummy sausages next time. Some breweries in the area seem to have very limited and/or overpriced food options, so the caliber of food at Hop Farm is one of its strongest points. I know I'll be back sooner rather than later.
