Pro Tip: When you're explaining why your offer for a leased vehicle isn't remotely what you said you could come to on the phone, don't speak down to them like they're children.
We leased our last Civic from them and are paying way too much. We should have been more educated and not let the sales guy bully us into signing. Lesson learned.
But when Mario calls you back, promises the stars and then fails to deliver. It's game over for Right Honda. When we counter an offer that is ridiculously high, with one that is perhaps unrealistically low, don't get combative with the customer.
Statements like "pull up the ad, I will read it to you right now" and "I want to pay $0.50 for gas too" don't make friends.
If you can't make the deal, fine, that's an understandable outcome. But to talk to an adult couple like they're your children is 100% unacceptable.
The attitude of Mario is completely unacceptable.
