  • So I was looking for a particular Japanese grocery vegetable and called in before I came by. The man on the phone was so helpful, trying to figure out the exact vegetable I was looking for because I didn't know the Japanese name of it. So when I finally dropped by, it was interesting to see there are dishes, kitchen ware, dry foods, Japanese knives, snacks and some grocery too. So random and yet perfect - pretty good to have all these Japanese products all packed somehow into this tiny shop. It is good Even just to walk in and browse. The dishware is pretty great though yes it's a bit on the high side. I've seen similar dishes being sold at lower costs elsewhere. But the overall selection itself is large and pretty, The variety and fact that it may be hard to find similar dishes / tea sets etc else where can explain the cost of some of them. This place was so busy and the people working here are very friendly. Only reason I knocked off one star was the prices of some of their dishware.
