Sour Grapes. That's what they will say but when a fellow employee told me not to document a Health Code Violation because WF would get in trouble; I quit. And I was employee of the month at least 4 times. Not supported by my immediate supervisor or store manager the next day they made the employee who told me not to document that HE was trying to sell a product 5 days after they, by company policy should have been removed., was made Store Employee of the Year. Oh AND HE WAS THE TEAM EDUCATOR. Going all the way to Mr Mackey I was not supported. Chicken? Sold as fresh in the case after being pre-wrapped in the coolers sometimes 3-4 days after expiration. Oh! Then possibly marinated or breaded for another couple of days. ALL UNDER DIRECTION BY STORE MANAGEMENT. SO, yes I quit. This store often times has items like hummus on the shelf 30 days past expiration. How do you miss that for 30 days?
If you buy any product with a breading KNOW that they coat the chicken or meat in MAYONNAISE to make the breeding stick to the product. And I mean COAT IT IN MAYO!
Organic knives and cutting boards to maintain the integrity of Organic Products, not used by my manager. They will say I'm lying, exaggerating, they have addressed the problems. I know people still working there. They have not. Contacted by management they offered no support of someone who was just trying to do the right thing. If that does not coincide with profit or a possible lawsuit WF simply doesn't care. These old hippies who started the company must be either burned out or TOO RICH TO CARE. Buyer beware.
