I will try to be objective. The promotion price for Internet and Prism TV (Phoenix AZ) with DVR was very tempting $79.00 including settop box and 140 channels. The tech did show up when scheduled. The tech worked very hard (5hr) to get the Prism TV working. Everything worked well for internet and TV. DVR worked well too.
After 2 weeks received a bill for $52.25 for internet service. That was a suprise, what happened to the Prism TV. Did not ask any questions and paid the bill. After 30 days (promo period) decided to cut the service. Received boxes with shipping labels to return everything. 2 weeks later I received a bill for $133.00. Call customer support, who sends me to finance, who sends me to billing, who says need to talk to finance, at which time am pretty irate as wasted over 45min on hold and reviewing the same information 3 times. The lady at billing finally empathizes with my dilema and gets a supervisor on the phone who gives me a credit so bill totals $79.00.
What a mess. I cannot believe the customer service. Various reasons such as did not have automated billing, and first bill always is pro-rated. Appreciate that finally got settled, but wasted a good hour of my day and am sure would have been longer if did not find someone to be willing to help.
