| - A solid place to grab a snack or light lunch. The buns are decent - not bad, but not excellent. Due to its location, the price is generally higher than what you'd see in similar bakeries in Chinatown. You've got your run-of-the-mill selection, such as hot dog buns, BBQ pork buns, etc, etc.
However, they sometimes offer hot buns in the middle aisle, which I think are much better than the regular items on the shelves (and helps differentiate them from other Asian bakeries). My personal favourite is the Philly Cheesesteak bun, which has a fair amount of meat and is quite tasty!
The bakery also sells bubble tea (which I haven't tried) and HK-style milk tea. I previously went to Lucullus Bakery on Elm St. for my Asian buns and HK milk tea, but since it closed down, Kin-Kin is my go-to spot. The milk tea is super cheap and definitely has a nice, rich flavour. It's not the best I've tried, but it's good enough that I don't mind coming back.
Overall, Kin-Kin is worth visiting if you're in the area and don't want to make the trek to Chinatown for pastries.
