| - I receive gym access to a list of gyms through my insurance. I went into Edge Fitness about 5 weeks ago with my insurance card and the list of gyms I have access to. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and said he would let me work out for a week and that he'd have to contact his boss to get my membership set up. Fair enough for me. Throughout the week (which eventually turned into two) I really enjoyed my time working out at Edge. They have really new, well kept equipment. The gym was never really busy, which is a big deal to me. I always prefer smaller, less crowded gyms. However, after my two weeks of not having a membership, I was still membership-less. I called the manager a bunch of times and his voicemail is full.....? Ok... great customer service. Subsequently, I texted him maybe 4-5 times and his only responses were, "so sorry, we're busy, I'm still working on it."
Yeah, I'm no idiot. I've managed a gym before. He won't get any commission from my sale so he doesn't care. All in all, this gym has really great equipment, but the customer service sucks.
