  • Good people. Good beer. Good vibes. What more could you need? Ketan and his wife own Pop the Top and they are a wonderful team. They have some harder to find local beer selections in the bottle shop section like Southern Pines, Ketan and his family drive out to get it! Through speaking to Ketan a handful of times, this has been a little fantastic beer dream for a while. They serve (mostly) local beer and all local snacks. They have a gorgeous tap wall, with electronic beer menus mounted on the wall. The font is a good size though, so don't worry about squinting to see the selection. Inside is beautiful, with local artists' murals and artwork. Even right down to the flight carriers, they've thought of everything, and sourced it well! The patio is perfect, mostly shaded and welcoming. There are a few tables, but I could see how this could crowd easily. The staff is friendly and seems to have a good amount of beer knowledge. This shop is a great addition to the South End beer scene. They are family and dog friendly - although furry babies need to stay out on the patio. Thanks for nothing heath laws... *scoffs*
