  • I really enjoy the Marquee! It's a very "up close & personal" venue, which is a plus. Over the past eight or nine years I've probably seen 20 shows here, and have never had a bad time! Security is nice and always willing to answer any questions. The bar is always pretty hectic, but the bartenders definitely do their best to get your drinks out quickly. Unless you get to the show early, you will probably have a tough time finding parking. Luckily, there is a parking garage about 100 yards to the West. Ticket prices are fair. My only complaint with that is how they advertise the prices. I bought my ticket for a show that was supposed to be $12 but it came out to $19 and some odd cents. Now, I'm not being cheap, $20 is still very reasonable for a show.. However, just advertise it as $20 if it's going to come out to $20. Saves a lot of confusion. Even with that factor, I will forever have love for the Marquee. Awesome spot, and everyone bitching about taking your shoes off.. Is it really THAT big of a deal? No. It isn't.
