Hey Amy,
I can certainly say you are right about not being able to prove it. Otherwise this wouldn't be a post but more like getting served to go to court. It's also not worth it though. While we can't prove what we do know, doesn't mean it holds no weight. Your a business and for you, perception should be reality. This was our fault in the end anyways. We get what we pay for. The ceiling fans are gone and the last time they were seen were in the garage while the movers were packing everything up. Then they were not seen again. Yes you can speculate that someone could've took them, but our garage has been left wide open in this neighborhood many times and we have had no trouble. But your right we can't prove they were stolen. So I will knowingly assume that your video cameras have blind spots. It would be very easy to know where the blind spots are and even easier to hide stuff underneath other items being moved. While there isn't enough evidence to prove it in a court of law, I will leave it to the next customer to view this post to make their judgement call. Where there is smoke there is fire. I'll leave this here for people like us who try and trust businesses like yours.
