| - Typical CostCo. If you're looking for atypical specialty products you wouldn't normally find at your local grocer, this is the place. If you're looking to save a bit but don't mind buying bulk quantities, this is the place. I tip my hat to CostCo's buyer! A little embarrassing to the old single dude who happens to get his Depends(tm) here though. "No, I'm not going to use that whole box this week!"
Parking is ample and seems to have bigger aisles than the Richmond Hill counterpart. No gas depot with the massive line-ups like Warden though.
You can also reach the food area without having to show your membership card which is nice.
As noted by previous commenters, can be busy on weekends and prior to long weekends. Still, the lines move relatively quickly and they've recently adapted by having more cashiers.
One warning though: If your membership has expired and you happen to have been away for a while and they offer to "renew" your membership at the cashier, it will be renewed RETROACTIVELY so do decline if you've been, say, out of town for a couple of months otherwise you'll be getting less than the twelve months you'll be paying for. Instead, cancel your membership and apply for a new one instead.
You can use the above quirk to your advantage as well. Load up those basement freezers (you may have to move a body or two), let the membership expire, cancel it, and re-apply giving you greater-than-twelve months for a twelve month membership!
Happy shopping!
