A month later I receive another invoice showing a past due amount for a total of $335.77 owed. All I ordered originally was the $39 a month internet service and that was less than 2 months ago. This looks like a classic bait and switch scheme. I am surprised the class action lawsuits have not happened yet.
They never showed up to install the service. I called twice to cancel it and both times, the reps said the account was cancelled. Supposedly, the account was never set up.
I am spending hours on the phone waiting for reps to close and cancel an account that was never opened or service provided. I guess I will have to call a few more times since they still send me bills for a service they don't provide.
Since centurylink wants me to spend more time trying to close out my account, I filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and FCC. Took me 5 minutes each to go to each website and fill out the forms, but this is still less time than I will be spending waiting on the phone AGAIN to CANCEL again a service they never provided me.
