Barcelona' s a cute tapas joint in a S.Highlands strip mall. Atmosphere is lively, albeit crowded and loud at points. We rolled in for our girl's b-day and were immediately in the mood after we saw the Mojito pitchers waiting for us on the table. Unfortunately, service was substantially lacking though, after we asked for more atencion (Spanish will get you places here!), our server turned from zero to hero (special note: we were a group of 15 -- not sure about the hero factor had we been 2 for dinner.) Menu stars: the grilled octopus and the spicy shrimp (careful, these really are caliente). Menu duds: potato bravas (cannot hold a candle to Julian Serrano -- see my previous review), and the Piquillo peppers (these may have been great had they been served hot). I honestly don't know what else we ordered because the servers brought out the wrong dishes a few times throughout dinner. Maybe the answer is: Go but avoid noshing on Saturday evenings, which seems to be THE night here.
