The service department never ceases to amaze me with their incompetence and dishonesty! I've had more than one experience, but I'll just focus on the latest. I needed a door handle replaced. I ordered it almost two weeks ago and understood that the part including painting would cost $65. I was not quoted for the service, but last time (yes this is the 3rd time I've had to do this-3 different doors) the total was $140 and the said it would be comparable. I had not heard anything a week and a half after ordering, so I called and was told they'd have the part Monday am & scheduled installation for the same afternoon. The part wasn't there so they went to retrieve it. During this time, I was told that the handle was actually $31 and the painting cost $60 and labor would be $110. They says it takes over an hour and that they'd have to remove door panel, etc. I said to just give me the part and I'd find somewhere else to have it installed. I sat another half hour or so (total 1.5) and three different guys came to ask me where my car was parked & each time I explained they'd moved it. Finally, they found it and I checked out. My receipt shoes that the part was $30 and the painting was $50-different than first two quotes. I took it down the road to a body shop that fixed it immediately. It took five minutes and the door panel did not have to be removed. And, the kicker is what they charged me-$0!!! God forbid I ever need to go to the dealership again, I will happily drive 30 minutes to Monroe or South Blvd to avoid the nightmare that is Keffer Hyundai
