| - This hotel is loud Thursday thru Saturday w/ a DJ going until 2am. Get over it. Its Vegas.
Aside from that, there's really no reason anyone on the planet should consider not giving this place a try.
Its retro exterior, its hip and stylish classic Las Vegas vibe, are all enticing & inviting to the senses.
Not to mention it's proximity to Fremont Street, and some of the original Las Vegas attractions like Binons, the Four Queens and the Golden Nugget Casinos.
My biggest determining factor when reviewing any Hotel or Hostel, is CLEANLINESS. And I felt very comfortable this room and room's bathroom. The room smelled clean, looked clean and felt as clean as a traveler could hope a hotel room to be.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and you could tell they knew Las Vegas, the Strip and its attractions as well as the Fremont Street restaurants and points of interest.
Additionally they had different options for rooms for not only couples but also bunk rooms for all guy or lady Vegas trips and also had different accommodations and room configurations for disabled tourists.
I cannot say enough about the exterior styling of the hotel and I really appreciated their nostalgia for 50s/60s rat pack/mafia Las Vegas. The hotel also has its own bar and lounge including an area for oversized ring toss and other games outdoors.
My gripes are with the bed and pillows which I felt could be much more comfortable/soft, although I understand this is a relative sentiment, I feel the hotel should look into perhaps conducting a survey in what customers thoughts are specifically on bed/pillow comfort.
Ultimately I would absolutely stay here when in Vegas again and I would recommend this place to family, and I feel its one of the best stays I've had in town.
