  • What makes a pie a good pie? Why, the crust of course! The Pie Shack has got the crust just right, and the flavourful and fresh pie filling has made my mouth water. Want a slice of pie and a warm drink? This is the place to go. I'm lucky to be able to try a bit of their pumpkin pie, which is made fresh and only available seasonally. I also picked up a strawberry rhubarb pie for a party and it was a hit. A whole pie can be purchased for $25. It's only 15 minutes in the oven, and if you're bringing it to a party it will be gone in no time. The pie crusts are thin and buttery delicious. The crust is soft and not hard like an over-baked cookie. The filling is not too sugary sweet and the flavour comes through strong. On top of it all, Tim the owner of The Pie shack is super friendly. I want to come back and try their savoury pies too.
