  • Yesterday's visit to The Rectory Café ushered in my tenth year of love for this treasure. The ferry ride alone makes for a special summer day but that's just the beginning. Take your time. Sip a cold draft or a glass of wine, order a starter. If you're alone it's okay to read but remember where you are - under tall trees with Lake Ontario in your front yard. My main yesterday was a pulled pork taco from the specials menu. Spicy,saucy and warm with chilled rails of jicama atop a slender soft taco, times three! Just go.
