| - My wife and I were patrons two years ago, and we had a good meal and experience. We took friends their tonight. I saw the owner, and asked him if he knew a server at La Cucina in Scottsdale, and he angrily said no. The four of us were seated and it took some time to place our order and even get four waters. My wife ordered a salad with salmon, our friend ordered a grilled vegetable salad entree and and our other friend and I each ordered minestrone soup and grilled chicken marinara as our entrees. The grilled vegetable salad (which was soaked in dressing) came within 5 minutes along with our soup. The soup was spicy and looked like beef vegetable soup that you get from a can. When the owner walked by, we asked if the soup was minestrone, he curtly said yes. My friend took two spoonfuls and left the rest. My wifes salmon came soon after the soup being served. When the salmon dish was served, my friend politely asked the server for another salad with no dressing. My wife and friend finished their entrees, and we were still waiting for the pasta dinners. The server was delivering entrees to other tables who were seated after us. We still waited and waited. We were so dismayed about not receiving our pasta dinners, I told the server to forget it, after which the owner went into a verbal tirade. He called us "a..holes" and told us to get out. He was yelling so loud, that everyone in the restaurant heard him. He said he would have a mind to dump the salad on my friends head. He kept on yelling " go to La Cuccina". It was apparent the if we didn't leave, a physical altercation would have ensued. I paid the bill because I was afraid of my well being. We left without eating. We would not recommend anyone patronizing this establishment.
