  • Disappointing experience trying to take my dog here. Purchased a Groupon hoping to bring my dog by, read the website and showed up bright and early on a day for him to play. He couldn't because they need a "temperament test". Ok, that's totally normal and expected. What has me miffed is the FAQ said D Pet Hotels **Hollywood** requires an appointment for a temperament test - leading me to believe Scottsdale and Chelsea don't. I work in Hollywood near that location and obviously it's nowhere close. The soonest appointment for a temperament test was noon - four and a half hours after I showed up, and defeating the purpose of dropping him off to pick him up in the early afternoon given the rates. The daycare setup is sort of crappy (two small play yards indoors and the one I could see was empty with nothing in it) and not really worth the extra effort so he can go here. The girl at the front was also useless - asking what kind of dog he is. Then when I tell her the breed she asked if that was his name? Uh no, you clearly know nothing about dogs. Also wanted to keep MY copy of his vaccinations after I told her I was going to try to take him to the one down the street this morning. What in the heck? Not sure if she's on drugs or just that dumb. Very disappointed. Will not be coming back here OR to the Hollywood location and luckily I was able to cancel my Groupon since the instructions to come here and use it were not correct (because, honestly, it's not even worth 50% off for my dog to be trapped in a little fenced off area with nothing for hours and hours).
