  • Myself and my bridal party all got our wedding hair here. I basically picked Simply Swank because it was a short drive from the hotel we were staying at and the price for up-do styles seemed very reasonable ($65-75 depending on style and time, tip included). I opted to pay for a hair and makeup trial to put myself at ease, and I had to pay for my wedding day hair in advance to reserve all of the needed stylists for myself and my bridesmaids the day of the wedding (FYI). I went for my trial about a month before my wedding and got hair and makeup. The stylist was very easygoing and I felt comfortable right away. She took the time to look at the photos I was wanting to model my hair and makeup after, and she asked along the way if I liked/disliked things she was doing. When I left, I felt like I looked like a jazzed up version of myself without being over done or over the top, which is exactly what I wanted. Two weeks out from my wedding, someone from the salon called and said that the stylist who did my trial and was going to do my hair and makeup on the day of no longer worked there. They offered me another hair and makeup trial with a new stylist free of charge. I was very glad they called and told me about the change because I would've been totally frazzled had I shown up on my wedding morning expecting to see the same stylist, who knew exactly what I wanted, to find it was someone else who was going to just go for it. So I went and my second trial was just as enjoyable, if not more. Come wedding day, my bridesmaids and I showed up to mimosas, fresh fruit cups, and spinach and cheese croissants to start our morning. All complimentary! There were 6 of us getting our hair done and I asked that we be finished by 1 and we were done by 12:15. Everyone got exactly what they wanted after showing pictures and all of the stylist were receptive to input so we all felt comfortable during and beautiful when we left! I would definitely recommend Simply Swank for any bridal hair needs. It was the perfect relaxed start to a hectic day and I left knowing my hair and makeup were wedding ready!
