| - You will easily spend an hour or so trying to get one question answered. If you want any question answered correctly, ask for the escalation department. That's still no guarantee that things will work out for you. I think they like having people call in, get disconnected, or kept on hold for days on end. They make DMV look awesome!!
UPDATED REVIEW 7/18/16: HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
I closed my account back in March when I did my original review. I've received bills from them even after my account was closed and paid in full. They did credit the account and everything is good (after spending over an hour on the phone talking with 7 different people). I'm currently on hold with them AGAIN as I type this review because they can't figure out why I still get bills even though everything is closed and supposedly credited for the last time. They "think" it's a computer glitch which keeps kicking out bills for no reason.
It's been 1 hour and 15 minutes so far and they're still trying to figure out what happened. Here's who I spoke to in order to get the bill credited for the second time: Drew transferred me to Chris, Chris transferred me to Jason, Jason transferred me to Patrice, Patrice transferred me to James, James transferred me to Chris (different dept), Chris transferred me to Sandra. I had to explain the situation to each new person on the phone and trying to keep patient was very difficult.
If you're even THINKING about switching to this company based on a good deal they'll give you, keep in mind you will waste enough time on the phone trying to straighten out billing issues that will eat away at the savings they offer. If you throw Prizm TV in the mix, that makes the nightmare even worse because the right hand doesn't have a clue what the left hand is doing. OMG...trying to end my closed-account relationship with them is impossible!
If this review has even saved one person from doing business with them, I'm glad. If you value your time and don't want ongoing frustration, please go with a different company. Seriously.
A final example from today's call: Jason in the billing dept credited my account and said I owed nothing, but Sandra in the escalation dept said I still owed it and she didn't see Jason's credit. She said he must've done the credit incorrectly because it wasn't on the system. I told her that I had a reference # for the credit and she went silent. She wasn't sure why the credit didn't show up. I need a drink now.
