| - I booked an appointment for a balayage treatment here because of all the good reviews on Yelp and I was really excited to get my hair done here as I've wanted balayage for some time but needed experts to do it.
I was booked in for balayage with Tina. After showing her a few pictures of what I wanted, unfortunately my result was not what I wanted at all...
I went home, and it looked like I had subtle highlights, and barely anyone noticed a change, and I paid over $100 for this, so obviously I was disappointed. I booked a meeting Tina a few days later, and asked her if she can help me out with it and re-do it, or do something about it, but she said there is nothing I can do. I was disappointed, however I decided to try again a few days later and this time talk to a manager - Amanda. She told me to come in a few days later and booked me with another lady by the name of Maggie who is a L'oreal professional colourist. Maggie was amazing! She changed my hair into what I wanted, and into actual balayage. I just had to pay a difference of $25, which was not bad. Both Amanda and Maggie were really nice and helped make my bad experience into a good one. I think I will be going back to Maggie if I ever need to color my hair.
P.S. - Love, love that they serve you tea, coffee or wine while you wait! Don't be afraid to ask for more. After all, colouring your hair takes a while.
If you're going to come here, it really depends on who you book with, so make sure to read everyone's reviews and go from there.
