An employee of the Digiplex said to me that the new owner is raking in the profits and just not fixing things...
1) Sound for the preview commercials went in and out... We were told a trouble ticket had been issued quite some time ago, but sound would be okay for the main picture (and it was). I wondered why they just didn't cut the preview commercials that had sound issues (one included M&Ms), but then realized they were probably getting revenue from them.
2) Picture was askew. (This was fixed by request.)
3) Dirty bathroom floors and unflushed toilets.... On a previous visit, a manager said the tile floors had not been sealed properly. The once white tiles consistently have gray dirt on them in the walking areas... Yuck.
4) Electric movie posters at entrance (ticket checkpoint) darkened - out-of-order.
5) Receipt in French, rather than English (or even Spanish). Management noted they were having trouble with it.
6) Rewards site was down (before movie and after movie)....was unable to get ticket rewards.
I can't help but think that all these problems are not being addressed as Digiplex is the only theater in town. This theater used to be so much better under UltraStar. AMC or Harkins should come here. They are much better.
