| - Bugged my brother to get me some bbt to satisfy my cravings and curiosity of this new establishment. I really wanted to try the Matcha Milk Tea and to my disappointment, they ran out on that day so my brother resorted to ordering me the Chachago Milk Tea with pudding, less sugar and ice.
It'd say it was worth the 5 bucks as it came in quite a large cup with a generous amount of pudding. The amount of tea flavour was a bit on the milder side for me since I enjoy my milk teas with more tea flavour. As for the pudding, I wasn't feeling it at first because it tasted bland and just... gelatin. However, the more I drank it, I started to enjoy it. It was an acquired taste I must say.
Second time around, I got the Hokkaido Caramel Milk Tea. Knowing that caramel is really sweet, I opt in for the lowest amount of sugar and again, with little ice but no pudding this time. I didn't know what to make out of it from my first sip. I'd say it was quite similar to the Chachago Milk Tea except with a hint of caramel flavour in it. It was OK... however, the more and more I drank it, I started to get a sore throat. Even with the lowest amount of sugar the drink came to be too sweet for me. I was stuck with a sore throat that whole day because of consuming too much sugar from a single drink!! So, no more Hokkaido Caramel Milk Teas for me!
I'd like to give another try at their other drinks like the fruit slushes and fresh teas so, I'll be back with an updated review!
