Came in for happy hour with a friend the other night and was impressed. This is definitely a different atmosphere from most of the bars in Lakewood but an awesome experience. The decor was modern with a heavy Viking twist. The color changing ceiling alone warrants a visit.
The bartenders are very talented. I tried a few new drinks from my usual and loved them all. You can't go wrong with any of their $6 Happy hour Classics. We also ordered a few small items from the happy hour food menu, prices ranged from $3-$7. The poutine is a departure from the traditional with lots of tomato but very good. The pork rinds are the perfect crispness and I couldn't get enough of the sauce they came with.
The music was a little more metal which fits the feel they are going for. My biggest complaint was the volume of the music, its was so loud it made conversation with my friend difficult despite the fact he was within 2 feet of me.
Keep doing you LBM!
