| - Anyplace with the word pie in it is going to grab my attention, so, naturally this joint did. I'll note here that it was a brunch stop - all day on the weekend- not a pie detour.
Cute spot. I liked the picnic bench upfront by the window, the menu was straight forward, and service, friendly. Now, as for the food, well.. I ordered the spanish omlette- eggs, chorizo sausage, quinoa, and black beans. Salad and a some salty tortilla chips accompanied it. Being completely ravenous, I was excited when the plate hit the table. That is, until I looked down to see what looked like the dog's vomit piled next to the greens. Help! Mmm.. I ate it. I was hungry. It was bland. And mushy. Not sure what happened to the omlette portion of the dish. I would go back to test drive the other offerings, but won't be asking for this dirty number again. 2.5 stars.
