  • My general experience with Soga Restaurant was mediocre. The food and the service was alright, however the reason for two stars is coming from the automatic 18% tip added to your bill even for a party of two. I was taken aback by such a forwardness by the restaurant, since this is a "cook-yourself" type of restaurant. When I asked my server whether she gets the tip, she told me that the tip goes straight to the owner of the restaurant. More reason not to pay extra 18% for your mediocre food.
