  • I can't believe there are no reviews for this lovely hotel yet! We stayed here for one night, before switching to the Ramada hotel and regretted leaving the Fairfield Inn. They have valet parking for $25 per day, but just across from them is a public parking lot. We got two days (maybe it was one day, i dont remembrr exactly) parking for less than $11. You literally just cross the street, and can see the hotel from the public parking lot, so I'd recommend using it. The hotel is new, so there isn't any visible damage yet (I hope it stays that way). We booked a king room, as all other rooms were booked. I checked the bed and room; no bed bugs. The bathroom was very spacious, and clean. There was shampoo, conditioner, body bar, and a facial bar. One reviewer on the booking site I used complained about the hotel not providing shower caps. I travel with mine always, and don't know why you'd count on a hotel to provide that. There was also a microwave, and mini fridge. Our bed was very comfortable, and clean. The view was awesome, and breakfast was included. I wasn't expecting much since again, there was complaints about it on the booking site. I was surprised to find out the breakfast buffet had EVERYTHING! Plus it was delicious. Muffins, waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, milk, juice, coffee, yogurt, sausage, and more! What the heck do those people who complained about it have for breakfast? Everything was being replaced once it was finished, and was fresh. Do NOT go down last minute like my mom did. It got so busy! There was huge line ups for everything. I loved it, and believe it was a very generous breakfast, especially since it's included with the room. The security was also great. You need a room key to use the elevator, and there's a camera in the elevator. There was a room partying with their door open, so I went to the front desk and complained. The woman was very understanding and let me know they will get one warning, then kicked out if they don't settle down. Luckily, they settled down so things were quiet for the rest of the night. My only complaint is the air conditioner. I love and appreciate that I can control the temperature, but it wouldn't turn off. It was on all night and we got really cold and woke up several times. I kept waking up a lot, probably from the air conditioner and my mom's snoring combined. This hotel is 100% non smoking, and does not allow pets. We will definitely be back when we visit Calgary again, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants great customer service, a clean hotel, and a amazing breakfast buffet to go along with it.
