  • How come there are no reviews for my man Jarred aka Lil J? Lol. I was looking at multiple places to get my ear/cartilage piercing done before I picked Club Tattoo. I wanted a good, reputable shop that I could keep coming back to for future piercing endeavors. When I called and attempted to make an appointment, I was told that they have a "first come first serve" style for piercings so I could walk in, pick my jewelry, and wait for an available person to pierce me. I came in and was greeted by Jarred shortly after looking around at the different jewelry options they offered. We chatted for a little bit about what I was looking for, my concerns, and then he informed me that he could pierce me himself. He was awesome and the man knew his stuff so I was excited that he could pierce me. I had to go up to the front counter to pay and show them my ID before I was able to get pierced. Jarred came out to grab me shortly after and I was allowed to bring back two friends (I had four with me, lol). He said that we could take as many photos as we wanted but we were not allowed to actually film the process. He placed four dots along my cartilage with some tattoo ink and then asked me to make a choice between the four. He was patient with me earlier when I was deciding my jewelry size and patient with me while I was picking between the dots to figure out where to get my piercing. He calmly told me to take a deep breath as he pierced it and to exhale after.. that helped a lot. I have to say that out of all my piercings, this one hurt the least. In fact, it was like a sharp poke and then I haven't felt anything since. My ear only feels sore if I lightly graze the back of the piercing while I am messing with my hair, but other than that, I wouldn't even remember that I just had it pierced. Sanitation was on point; I kept an eye out for sure and he was immaculate. After he pierced me, I thanked him for his great work and then he went over a bunch of great after-care advice. He even gave me his card in case I had any questions or concerns. I loved his get-it-done attitude and honesty. It was $55 before tip for my piercing and jewelry. I am such a fan that I am bringing my best friend to get pierced by him.. today (05/22/2013)! I cannot wait to come back and get my triple forward helix done by him.. I was definitely tempted to right after my cartilage piercing. I will be posting photos of that as well when it happens! P.S. I wish that the more positive reviews about Club Tattoo would be shown on Yelp instead of being filtered. Most of the time, I believe that people have had a wonderful experience here and make a Yelp account just to write that review. Check out the filtered reviews as well for this place and don't get discouraged by some crazy reviewers! P.S.S. Check out their piercing portfolio on the iPad next to the jewelry! It's insanely good!
