  • I can't believe I've lived in Polish Hill for 3 years and had never been here before! I absolutely LOVE this place. I had always heard about it, but always pictured it to be a typical run-down, junky bowling alley. It couldn't be FURTHER from that! It's clean with great atmosphere, decorations and furniture. Now, I will warn you that this place gets PACKED on the weekends. I had tried to go a few times before-- always very last minute-- and there was quite a wait for a lane. I bet being there late night with a fun, rowdy crowd would be a blast, but we decided to try a late-afternoon bowling session and it was great! We bowled in the backroom which is next to the bar room. From the pool table to the furniture, I absolutely loved the decor and set-up of the bar room. There is a little walkway down the length of the alley and we were in the end lane, so we were able to get some really cool photos and videos of the ball coming at the pins. The food is nothing special, typical fried bar food, but it was a great snack while we were there! I would recommend going during non-peak times if you can, but I also think it's worth the wait!
