  • I have been back a few times since my first visit! This is their first franchise in Canada.  Some quick research and I saw this place specializes in Cheese Crowns on their teas.  I've been seeing pictures of this cheese crown thing on social media and was glad i could try it out since none of the bubble tea places in my neighbourhood have it. Location : It's at Midland and Finch. I'm not in the neighbourhood often, only when I'm going for a specific reason like birthdays. They have some great places there. I need to wander down more often.  Parking: The plaza that Latea era is in is busy but it full of grab and go businesses so parking turns over quickly and even though I went during a prime time, I found a spot easily. phew. Decor: The front face makes it look like any other tea place, in fact its next door to one.  But this is way different from the usual places I go.  Normally it's a grab and go, the chairs are uncomfortable, the lighting is harsh, air circulation bad so you don't want to stay and risk smelling like whatever they are cooking. - nothing that makes you want to stay . This vibe of this place is completely different.  It's more like a coffee-house, a - come and sit for a while - coffee house.  There are lots of comfortable chairs, it's nice and open, there is couch seating in a big room in the back, and there is a book shelf with games, books and magazines for your use. The goods: Drink wise - They have a great selection. The usual suspects - milk tea, fruit tea, slushes and some delicious looking matcha and green teas.   And of course the delightful  foamy cheese crowns.  Oh you can also get a slice of cake to enjoy with your tea. So Ive tried two drinks and I tried a matcha crepe cake from Baker Siu the winner of Canada's  Master chef. I drank the lime passion fruit green tea and the strawberry slush with a cheese crown.  The cheese crown is a combination of milk, cream cheese and condensed milk. I loved both drinks. Strawberry slush with cheese crown is made with fresh strawberries !!! What I love about the drinks? Made with real fresh fruit!! Strawberry slush?  Plump ripe red strawberries put in the blender.  Lime Passion Fruit green tea?  Yup Passion fruit!  You can see the seed on the bottom of the glass.  So refreshing to go someplace that doesn't use a powder to flavour the drinks!  The drink was delicious too!  Perfect for a warm summer day. I love limes and passion fruit so this is now my drink! The strawberry slush with the cheese crown ?- I was reluctant to try it and am I glad I did. It tastes like heaven. Like liquid strawberry cheesecake in a glass. Like the best strawberry cheesecake you ever ate!!  You HAVE to try it! They also have cakes, There was a green tea crepe cake and a white cheese cake. I tried the crepe cake. It's made by the Master Chef Canada winner Chef Siu.  The colour is amazing, there are a tonne of thin delicate layers of crepe. I just didn't love it.  But everyone else seemed to have Conclusion: So in conclusion.....  I loved this place. It's out-of-the-way for me to go there and I've been back with other friends.  AND I'll go back again. I love that Strawberry slush with cheese foam. I'll be the one sitting there reading enjoying the vibe and tasty drinks!!
