rev:text	I've lived at the Villas/The Motif for over 18 months now (my renewed lease is 1/2) & it's been a mixed experience. I renewed my lease just because under $750 for almost 1,000 sq ft is pretty inexpensive for 2 bed-2bath (but I'm in the oldest apartment here-not updated) Pros: * There's a decent amount of children living here. I like the family environment. * New management has taken over starting October of 2015, and have already started to update vacant apartments & even repainted all apartments! It's nice what they've done, it looks really updated. * LOTS OF POOLS! I think 4, & if kids are in one, there's 3 more to go to. * Maintenance is fast! Within 24-48 hours...but often water is shut off, or there's no hot water etc & they don't bother to email tenants about it (the least they could do, right?) Cons: * no playground ?? With the amount of children here, there should be one for them to hang out on instead of a tennis/basketball court with no net or hoop? What is this, basically an open flat space. * everyone is always speeding, alwayssss Staff is sneaky, never gives you a direct answer for anything..and obvious liars at times. Keep your guard and attention up when dealing with them. Plus there's this thing they've been doing where they've been making "mistakes" on leases, aka tricking older tenants into moving out sooner..nice job guys! sarcasim* This staff/management is ridiculous. .. * no stop signs or even yields * you ALWAYS hear the fire department sirens, accidents, etc from the highway...horrible * bugs, every so often a roach sneaks into our apartment. Why do I pay pest control? * you have to PAY to receive a package in the office (like if you're not home, & they drop it there) between ($0.75-$3.00) and of its over 10 lbs it gets returned. That's ridiculous. * parking is horrible. Tight, and no one knows how to park & if you can't fit, most likely you're parking far away in the unmarked/uncovered spots. Overall the price kept me here, but the staff/management is not worth dealing with. I'll be moving when my current lease is over....
