This place does NOT taste like Denny's. I hate Denny's and love this place.
Correct - the portions are unnecessarily huge.
I think the flavor is unique in a lot of the dishes. I like their famous Benedict and the chicken and waffles with the maple sage reduction was also really good. The french toast is really great too - but I'm a sucker for fried bananas - so I feel those make that dish.
The staff is nice - the food came out quickly - the wait wasn't too crazy (and I'm usually there on weekends) - and the prices are more than fair.
This may seem weird but the stainless steel tables are freezing - like 'uncomfortable to put your hands' on freezing. And the decor is okay but I don't know if it's that "trendy". The decor reminds me of a barnyard version of Chipotle. But who cares - its about THE FOOD - and the food is really good.
I always have to go to Hash House if I visit Vegas.
