Love the fact that places like this still exist. And seemingly thrive. Great selection of books, vinyl, geekery, and even jigsaw puzzles. Who carries used jigsaw puzzles these days? Bookman's does! This location has a smaller but arguably better selection of puzzles than the 19th Ave location. More discriminating puzzlers? Local puzzlers who don't hoard their done puzzles? Whatever the reason, I usually find a variety of unusual, non-Kinkade non-Wysocki puzzles.
On the non-puzzle front, the selection of nature and art books is usually pretty good but depends on what people bring in.
On the ambiance front, you'll feel right at home among your own kind of people (readers, vinyl addicts, and fans of all kinds) and / or you'll be skeeved out at the lack of attention to personal hygiene of some Bookman's patrons.
