This is an amazing place.
On our first visit to Phoenix it was recommended we go. It was wonderful. Fortunately we started our visit first thing in the morning and drank lots of water. There was so much to see and I learned lots about local cacti, local plants and the natives who lived around there. Every one who worked there was very helpful and answered all our questions. The gardens were clean and well maintained. Signs explained things. Unfortunately it was August and not the ideal time of year to visit.
We are looking forward to visiting there in the fall or spring especially when there are the artists shows. We timed it right for our day, finished just at noon and had and excellent!!!! lunch at Gertrude's
