  • Maybe I should have read some of the other Yelp reviews before we decided to come here! Our group visited this cigar shop a couple of times during our stay in Vegas, and I'm particularly taking an issue with the second visit that we had on Saturday, 4/18. Boyfriend and several of our friends were there to pick up a few cigars to smoke while sitting at the slots at Caesars (we were here for a friend's birthday and he enjoys the occasional cigar). The first time we were here, the boys were in and out with no issue. This time, however, the man who was working the counter at the time seemed to really dislike his job. I will admit that we got there about 30-45 minutes prior to closing, but that's still no reason to completely disregard customer service. When Boyfriend and his friend, the birthday boy, asked about whether or not they had a certain cigar type, the man at the counter was apparently like "I don't know, maybe." Such a specific answer. He didn't even indicate where he THOUGHT they might be. The boys ended up having to find what they were looking for on their own, without the guy's assistance (not that he seemed very inclined to offer it anyway). Another one of our friends had made her selection too and walked up to the register to pay. While ringing her up, the guy asked her, "And who is this going to be for? Dad? Boyfriend?" This actually upset my friend as she replied, "For myself, actually." Why can't a woman smoke a cigar or purchase one for herself?! [/feminism] I guess the guy was actually a little embarrassed after that, and we left soon after. I mean, we may have all been a little too sensitive about that last interaction, but still. The guy just didn't seem to want to be there and didn't seem to care who knew it. It leaves a bad taste in the customer's mouth. I would rather find a different place to go the next time we're in Vegas, however much I may like Caesar's itself.
