I'll usually end up at Hanny's whenever I'm staying at the Renaissance across the street. Downtown is usually pretty dead when there aren't any ball games going on, so there isn't much of a ruckus normally. From what I've been told, Hanny's used to be a department store. The wait staff wears these white lab coat looking things but I'm sure it ties in with the theme somehow.
The food and drinks are surprisingly good. The pizza is great. This time, we ordered the prosciutto pizza and the margherita pizza. I had one friend with me that was amazed by the proscuitto pizza and he said it was life changing.
The cocktails must have been great, since a lot of folks that normally wouldn't be drinking cocktails were indulging in them.
The bathrooms on the 2nd floor are set up in a very non conventional way. There's different symbols on the doors so you can see which one you can use accordingly.
The bottom floor right by the entrance has a very interesting set up with some dolls that's I'll need to find out more about next time.
