  • I stopped in tonight looking to slowly browse at roughly closing time. Sam, the owner, assured me that he would be happy to wait as long as I needed and thanked me for choosing his store and we shook hands. We had a laugh or two while I looked over the wide variety of products that I might need in a pinch. It has been a long time since I felt a desire to support a local business. I mean like get out and spread the word / take a loss to support. I surely could find what I need down the road at Walmart... But I would rather spend my money at Sam's Convenient Food Mart. Lottery, booze, snacks / drinks, fried chicken... this is the place!
