The Mrs. and I tried this place after walking out of a disappointing experience at the megachurch across the street, and we're happy we did. The building's location is it's initial attraction for sure, right on Tryon and 7th, and the stained glass windows and sanctuary don't hurt either. We love the diversity here, people from all walks of life make up the surprisingly large congregation. The staff of the church is impressively diverse too, and impressively approachable for an Episcopal church. Both Ollie and Joslyn (along with the retired Father Murdock) have been incredibly friendly to us and impressive from the pulpit. If you can appreciate the Episcopal litergy, this is the church for you.
