A-ok. Mom and I wanted to try a new salon for pedicures. Mom's service was done by Yvonne and mine was done by Tommy. We went with the deluxe pedicure; Tommy asked me multiple times throughout the service if everything was ok, if I was comfortable, etc. I am totally happy with my results and will come back to see him in he future. Mom's service was going well until Yvonne put her flip flops on. She took off about 75% of the polish on mom's big toe with the back of her hand. She put mom's sandal on and then smeared polish over the missing spot and said "I fixed it." My Mom was not satisfied and said she didn't want it to look like it was patched. Yvonne looked confused and I said "She wants you to take it off and fix it." Yvonne soaked a cotton ball in acetone to remove it and squeezed a lot of it on my mom's sandal. My Mom asked her to take the sandal back off and Yvonne said no. Mom asked again and she took it off and repainted her nail. She let it dry and as my Mom was already frustrated, she wouldn't let Yvonne put her sandal back on and did it herself.
The sail was clean and they used disposable liners for the foot bath, which I liked. The sugar scrub and clay mask were a nice addition to the deluxe pedicure and a nice change from a regular pedicure. We will be back, but we will not have service from Yvonne.
