A couple years ago I received a small patio heater as a gift. It worked great on my balcony the last 2 winters but this year refused to light. I looked up the website listed on the heater and saw that I live very close to the manufacturer, AZ Patio Heaters. After calling to confirm they do repairs, I brought my heater in last Friday to be fixed. Yesterday (Wednesday) I got a call that my heater was ready for pickup. Turns out my heater only needed a cleaning and no new parts! The repair guy even explained how to clean it so I should be able to handle it myself next year. The $35 cost for cleaning was reasonable, since it would have cost around $80 to replace the heater entirely.
The people at AZ Patio Heaters were very helpful, and although they were busy, I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything new. They had some really pretty fire pits that I would have been interested in if I didn't live in an apartment!
