This is review is only for the main store of Henrys at Church & Queen. My favourite Henry's location to deal with is the one in Pickering.
I have been a long time customer of the main Henry's store since back in the 90's I have been going there for photographic equipment. I have said this over and over again -- you have to develop a relationship with a sales rep. in order to get good pricing and service. Henry's main store has been no exception to that rule! Most of the sales guys are friendly, but you won't get a price break unless you keep coming back and work your way up with a sales person that you know over time.
In general, I can't complain about the main store, I have had a number of experiences where sales staff were not overly friendly - but those experiences are rare. For quite sometime, I did have a sales rep. that I dealt with, and followed that person when they left the company to a new dealer.
Anyhow -- my reason for only 3 out of 5 stars -- is that the store is A-OK, but if you are just an average camera consumer walking off of the street and going in to make your first purchase, I wouldn't necessarily suggest going here, unless you have done your homework, know what you want to pay for the item, and haggle a little with them to get the price you want. Doesn't always work - but sure doesn't hurt to try.
