| - I REALLY hate writing a bad review-- I am totally not the type of person to use yelp just for bad reviews (check my page). However, I do need to warn people about the service at Kim's. I usually go to someone else, but with Kim's excellent 5 star rating, I decided to try it out. So here it goes:
Around the end of March, I dropped off a dress (minor change in hemline), a blouse (small tear in seam), a sweater (sew up pockets), and later a blouse with a run in it. All small alternations and nothing crazy. She asked when I needed them and I said I was flexible. So she responded, 1 week. Great not a big issue.
Two weeks later (due to traveling), I went to pick up my stuff. Nothing had been done. At that moment I should have asked for it back, but I wanted to be nice. She said another week.
Again, TWO WEEKS LATER (now a month has gone by), I go to the store to pick up my things and they were STILL NOT DONE. I wanted to ask for them back, but they were a work in progress. She said she had to stop working on them, because another guy yelled at her on the phone to finish his pants-- so me thinks that time is a total issue here.
To top it off, I am still being fully charged for my stuff. So, one week has turned into one month.
