  • This store was a pleasant surprise. A little hard to find, it's tucked away in a shopping area of some local tourist attractions, the Odysea Aquarium, and the Butterfly House. Look for the purple sign that points to Four Peaks Mining, at the entrance. The workers in the store were very enthusiastic, and friendly. They were happy to talk about the many different fossils, and gemstones on display. The saleswoman was very helpful to me selecting an amethyst ring. She didn't try to push more expensive items, just told me to get whatever ring I liked the best. I appreciated the help, also the fact that the stones are from their local mine. It's definitely worth a visit to this store.
