  • Having frequented Totopo quite a number of times now, I thought an update was in order. The food itself is great. We've not had a single item placed in front of us that we didn't enjoy. The issue at Totopo is the service. I think that nearly every time we've visited, we have had to send at least one item back to the kitchen for not being what was ordered (ex: chicken burrito was served instead of the beef burrito that was ordered). On the one visit that the food order was correct, we were missing an item (a complete kids meal) and had to wait for the server to stop by the table and remind them and then wait for the forgotten meal to be made. I would have thought that the staff would have found their stride by now, but it appears not. I'll revisit my review if the service improves.
