So, Applebee's is never my choice, but other people seem to like it, so I go with it. Applebee's is what it is and doesn't really seem to try to be anything else. There's generally a wait at this location around dinner time, and the bar table seating isn't open, it's also part of the wait-list.
You're not going to find complex flavor profiles here, but everything will be familiar, and if you have kids you'll probably find something they'll actually eat.
I do like that they added house salads on the 2 for $20 and 2 for $25 menus instead of having to get a carb loaded/fried appetizer. Their Happy Hour specials are a pretty good deal too.
