  • Went to Stack for a nice dinner to celebrate DH and I second wedding anniversary. I called in to make reservations and told them our special occasion. Stack is upscale, dim, and pricey restaurant located in The Mirage. DH and I both had the Filet Mignon and I added lobster. DH Filet Mignon was a little bit under-cooked (we asked for medium), but not bothersome. We know its a hard steak to get perfect. My Filet Mignon and lobster was absolutely delicious! Why the 3 stars? One word: Service. Service was definitely lacking. We had been to stack once before, and our waiter at that time was great. But this waiter seemed bored. We saw him about twice. Didn't bother to ask if we were there for any special occasion (unlike the first time we visited Stack). The restaurant was not even busy. Maybe about 5 other people at 7:30pm. I'm the type of girl who tips based on service! That's all I'll say. Overall, I would return. But I think I'll try out some other restaurants during my next visit to Sin City.
