  • Of course, there is a beautiful view, including the Bellagio fountain show every 30 minutes. Excellent service, from the elevator girl to the hostess to the waiter to the sommelier. Seriously, everything was so seamless between the staff and so well-executed, it was very impressive. Wine list is extensive, with an emphasis on French wines, of course. The sommelier was incredibly helpful in recommending a bottle that wouldn't break the bank. And the food....loved it all. We had the escargot (be warned, it's not the traditional service - the escargot are served on top of a sunchoke flan), sea bass, veal medallions, scalloped potatoes, and mushrooms. Everything was delicious, but the standout was the veal. Every bite was great. I can't exactly call it a complaint, but I would note that although well-executed, the mushrooms seemed a bit boring compared to everything else. After tip and a bottle of wine, our bill was about $300. Obviously you won't go every day, but I think Eiffel Tower is perfect for a special occasion or a splurge. Also note that the food mostly leans toward traditional preparations...barring vegans, I think just about anybody could be happy eating here.
