| - I received very poor service, they employee technicians that were very unprofessional, and in the end I had to bring my dog to an emergency veterinarian as his wound opened up and was infected. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking surgical procedures for their animals.
While this group of veterinarians may talk a good game, how they pride themselves on customer service, their ability to serve as an emergency room and urgent care for animals, etc. etc.. In the end it's all about the bottom line and covering themselves in case of lawsuit.
I had surgery performed on my dog, which had to have fatty masses removed and extensive dental work performed. After experiencing appalling customer service, not being able to speak or visit with the Doctor even though I had asked several times, and witnessing the lack of knowledge and professionalism by the technicians, Dr. Lowrance and her team were already ranking very low with me.
The day after the sutures were removed I found my self in an emergency veterinarian's clinic having a hole the size of my fist being closed in my dog's chest. It was this emergency veterinarian that raised severe doubt in their abilities as surgeons after listing off the items that could have been done differently.
I contacted the owner of Caring Hearts Animal Clinic, Dr. Schleappe, soon after this debacle to make him aware of my concerns and ask that they cover at least a portion of the emergency vet bills. This was met with a severely defensive nature and a concerning lack of care for the situation. It was clear the Doctor was trying to cover his practice and stated in no uncertain terms that they would not cover any portion of the bill. This must be the customer service they pride themselves on...
It's sad really!
