  • I have never written a bad review and I am not the one to complain but the new Avenue 5 management company here is incompetent at the minimum. Do not move here expecting this to be an upscale apartment complex what a dupe. First of all the mandated VIP trash service is a joke of all jokes. They make it mandatory but do not include it in your rent. They bill you separately for it. They also charge you a $10 setup fee and $5 monthly admin total shake down fee for utilities. Absurd. The dumpster is literally outside our door and the staff couldn't have cared less that we do not want, need, or requested this farce of a service. If it is required and a blanket policy build it into the rent don't bill us separately. Secondly no key in this place works. Their excuse is so many copies have been made that they no longer work well. Maybe replace the locks? It literally takes a wrist wizard to gain access to the pool area here. It is ridiculous. Lastly the mail room couldn't be a more unorganized mess if they tried. They require all mail to go to the main office, but they have no policy to organize the mail. When you go and politely ask for your mail they couldn't act more inconvenienced. You will receive multiple items via the mail and request them. Then the staff will comeback to you and state they were unable to find it, the amazon driver left it on the truck, or it was mislabeled. You then have to show them your confirmation slip to have them look again and low and behold your packages are they. They do it every time. They even signed for a package that was never delivered and blamed it on Amazon. The package was lost into the ether never to be recovered and the staff's response was. It is impossible for us to verify the packages delivered or be maintain mail for a complex this big. They need a policy then or a staff member dedicated to the mail room because it is obvious they have no desire to provide and package receiving service. Avenue's 5's staff only desire is to sell more apartments not to provide any customer service to their tenants. Fact. Any request you kindly ask will be met with rolled eyes or a brush off. If you want to speak with a manager they give you a dead end number where no responds. Truly awful customer service stay away.
